I just heared if you make a joke about security in the airports TSA will arrest you?

Is this true? and if so isn't that against our 1st amendment?

    Yes that's true, and it's been the case for years that you're not even supposed to reference things like bombs, etc., while you're in an airport. They take security very seriously, and it's not their job to sort out when you're joking and when you're not.

    There are all sorts of limitations on your 1st amendment freedom of speech depending on where you are and what you're saying. You don't get to yell "fire" in a crowded theater when there isn't a fire, for example. And you don't get to joke about security in airports. No, it's not a violation of your first amendment rights.
