Will I hit a growth spurt?
Im 16 and I'm only 5'5 which bothers me because I'm a male and guys are usually tall. I've been short most of my life and my dad is 5'7 while my mom is 5'5. My doctor told me I should hit a growth spurt around the time I turn 16 and should be about 6'0-6'4. What do you guys think? Will I hit a growth spurt or is the doctor lying? Also, my brother is an adult and is about 5'8 or 5'9.

I am having real trouble understanding how you could possibly get to 6'0 or 6'4".
Look, you simply don't have the genes to be that tall. You may end up about 5'9 like your brother. But with a father only at 5'7 you are NEVER going to hit six foot.

Well it all depends on your genes really although you still have a few more years growing yet.
