Could I get a rolex for under $1000?

I have wanted a quality watch for a long time but I never endulged and bought one. I want the highest quality I can afford. Every time I research quality watches online "rolex" is always on the page. I was wondering if I could afford one with a $500-600 budget. If not, what is a more realistic price? $1k etc?I'm not really so concerned with it having precious stones in it or being made of gold. I'm more interested in the look and more importantly, the mechanics and movement inside. And from my understanding, rolex has a superb movement. I was on the rolex website but they didn't show any prices. Lol I would really appreciate an in-depth answer as apposed to a quick "why are you so concerned with brand name?" I WANT a rolex so don't worry about it.
