Consider the plot below describing motion
along a straight line with an initial position of
x0 = 10 m.
What is the position at 2 seconds?
Answer in units of m.
What is the position at 6 seconds?
Answer in units of m.
What is the position at 8 seconds?
Answer in units of m.
I really need help, Thanks

You start with the most basic kinematic relationship of them all. S = Vavg T; distance is average speed X time traveled.
When the acceleration is constant, like the curve sloping upward to the right, Vavg = (U V)/2. So for the first two seconds, T = 2, we have S(2) = Vavg T = (U V)/2 * (T(2) - T(0)) = (0 5)/2 * 2 = 5 meters. ANS. 040.
Then S(6) = S(2) (U V)/2 * (T(6) - T(2) = 5 ((5 6)/2)*(4) = 27 meters (from zero). ANS. 041.
And S(8) = S(6) (U V)/2 * (T(8) - T(6)) = 27 (0 - 2/3)/2*2 = 26 1/3 meters from zero. ANS. 042.
