My mum will not listen to anything I say.. Please can you help me?

She put me on the contreceptive pill around a year ago and everything was fine. I started to faint and get migraines and my period became really weird so she suggested I changed pills. I wanted to know more about other pills so I was trying to ask her about the one she was on and about other ones and also I was trying to tell her about my pill last week that I missed two pills (I didn't have sex I'm on it for period reasons) and that might be why I'm on my period once again but she wouldn't listen and I was trying to tell her an all she was doing was sitting on her phone Textin her friends and boys and I said to her 'mum I am trying to tell you something' and she just turned red and screamed in my face 'YOUR ALWAYS F*KING TRYING TO TELL ME SOMETHING' so loud. I was trying to let her know about the pill and get some information about other pills.. It's not cause she's embarrased to talk about it as she is deffintly not. She even does this with other things.. She just doesn't like talking to us and even if we say one thing to her she screams sometimes.. All I wanted was a little information but instead I got screamed at in the face

    1. Your mother should not be using that kind of language towards you and I'm sorry you deal with that.

2.Why is she controlling what medicines you take?

    3. The contraceptive pill can have its complications which can be very very dangerous indeed. You must go to a doctor and speak to them about different pills. Ring them yourself and make an appointment to go. Ive gone to the doctor without letting my parents know before. Some pills will not work well with you at all and they can give you long term effects even once off the pill. You can always try taking pills when you're only on your period which lighten them and make them less painful. I used those before i tried the contraceptive and they were great. The contraceptives changed my mood so i came off. If your mother won't help yu your friends/doctor will. Plus people on yahoo can only advise you. Im only speaking from experience here with the pills and I've had awful things happen with medicines that weren't right for me and i suffered for months after. Just be careful. If you miss a pill don't worry, do not take two in one go. Try seeing a medical person in school too, they usually have advisors :) good luck
