Are these words used correctly? BEST ANSWER?

This will thwart young adults from breaking the law and it will also reduce their inquisitiveness.

    No. It's prevent, not thwart. You prevent actions, you thwart people. You thwart people who try to break the law, but you prevent them from breaking the law.

    "Reduce their inquisitiveness?" What do you think you are talking about? You need to spend some time with a dictionary so you can choose more appropriate words.
