Good Canadian Scifi/Fantasy Novels (Published within last 10 years)?

Need something to do an English ISU on, so something that has symbols and can be dissected and such.

    Blindsight by Peter Watts. He takes spooky psychological ideas and plays the scientific hell out of them.

    Or there's Margaret Atwood's dystopia trilogy (Oryx&Crake, The Year of the Flood, MaddAddam).

    Canadian as in Canadian authors or Canadian as in takes place in Canada?

    The Breach is up in Canada, but Ghost Country, the second in the series was the better plot.

    I recommend Robert Sawyer's books. WWW.watch, WWW.wake, WWW.wonder are three good ones.
