there was some daylight - from the description of the Ark it seems that there was an opening the length of the ark:
Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around.
No doubt Noah was highly intelligent (we have been devolving via mutations and natural selection, ever since Adam and Eve), so maybe he used light pipes. They certainly had metal so this is realistic possibility.
And obviously they could have used torches burning oil, etc.

The Bible says nothing about this. Perhaps the window around the top of the exterior provided enough daylight up to a point. At night they would sleep, so not need light. Plus, they might have dried dung to burn when needed, whether for cooking or for light.

Considering there is nothing conductive on a boat made of wood... he probably just sort of floated around hoping for the best. I mean theoretically a god did tell him everything would be fine if he got in the boat with a bunch of animals.

He had an inexhaustible supply of poo from the on board menagerie so he installed a large poo digester. This produced methane gas which the family used for cooking, lighting and heating water for hot showers..
