There is a glitch currently with placing the plus and minus signs which has been brought up to staff already and we assume they are working on it
What you could try (and I'm testing it myself now) is using the codes for the symbols instead e.g. + http://unicodelookup.com/#plus/1 and minus − http://unicodelookup.com/#minus/1

Either you swore or maybe this site just doesnt 'allow' those symbols? (or they just dont work on here)
