Rough idea of what I should do for A levels?

Okay, I'm in year 10 now. My target minimum grade is A for all the triple sciences and B/A for my maths (the bare minimum the school thinks I should get). I want to do chemistry for sure, biology because of the dissection (and obviously because it's interesting haha) and I'm stuck on either maths a level or physics (I know I'll do well in the two subjects if - or should I say when I study really hard and pay attention in class which ido aand extra revision outside). Wish me luck on my gcses guys lool. and my sister said she recommends me to do a MFL which she got an A* for French gcse and A in A levels. Im doing spanish gcse cureently. For that my TMG is C/B (but trust me, I can use all the tenses and can speak with an intermediate flow, and I know I can get an A in it. so I really don't know what to do. If you done a language a level how was it? And did you maths a level? With physics A level? or not?

    Hello,

(I can only really talk about Spanish)

I am in Year 12 and took Spanish A Level, after having a keen interest in it during my GCSE years. I would recommend it, it is a lot of hard work but it is really rewarding when you see high grades on essays/homeworks. You seem very confident in it, so I would definitely choose it, especially with a high target grade. MFL's can open so many doors when it comes to jobs in the future, employers will favour candidates with another language as it proves commitment, cultural interest in foreign places, and of course possible bilingualism.

Also compared to my other subjects, Psychology, Tourism and English Language, I definitely have to put more independent learning (private study/extra revision) at home into Spanish, because of the new vocabulary we learn every lesson, and for it to absorb properly in my brain.

Good luck choosing, and I hope you enjoy your option choices :)

    ¡Adios!
