Broadband signal wise, they should all be very similar as the actual cabling is handled by BT Openreach.

You have to look at the whole package. For example, with BT you get BT Sport included (other ISPs may provide this as well, but not all). If you are with BT you can use the BT Smart Talk App on certain smart phones to make calls from your mobile that are billed at home phone rates. In my case, for calls to land lines from my mobile I pay 30p/min through the mobile network, but nothing with the App. All that is needed is connection to the Internet, and there are many places such as coffee shops that provide free WiFi. Also, BT users can get free access to over a million BTWiFi hotspots around the UK and more around the world.

As far as WiFi signals are concerned, if the signal from the ISP's router is not very good, you can buy another router or a wireless access point to cascade behind your ISP's router.

I have tmobile dongle but if I wanted to change it to unlimited calls etc and unlimited download i would choose Virgin Media, Google Virgin media website or try cheapest broadband sites and it will give details of them all, I had BT landline for a long time but cancelled it as it was nothing but trouble, Good Luck
