Laws regarding bow and arrows in Canada (short bow)?

I'm 18 and live in BC and I would like to get a short bow. I'm having troubles finding regulations about them, I could only find laws regarding crossbows. I don't want to hunt anything with it, just shoot at targets. Do I need to a license or need to register it? Can I shoot targets in the woods? What are the rules about carrying bow&arrows? Thanks a lot in advance!

you don't need a license to buy a bow. You only need a license to hunt with one. You do not need to register them. If however you are walking in the woods with a bow, it may be assumed that you are hunting with it, its hard to prove you aren't.

If it's home made you don't need a license, but I think it's required at most shops
