How does Satan deceive people?

One way is by masquerading as an angel of light. He makes bad things appear good.

An example of this is making magic seem harmless with cartoon witches and Harry Potter. But the main way is through religion. Sometimes religion can appear good but it may not be pleasing to God because of its works or because it is telling lies about God.

Just look at the answers to some of these questions. And look at some questions.

There are deceived people behind these.

Imagine that you have some children that you love more than anything in the world. Someone comes and steals them, taking them into a life of slavery and prostitution. They have grown up with this and do not know how awful it is or the meaning of a life free of abuse and torture. Them someone comes to these children to say "look there is better life. You can be free of this pain. Your real father is very rich and wants you to come back to him, all you have to do is turn to him for help and he will free you. Then their slaver finds out. He tells them that what they have heard is all lies. They already have the wonderful life and the is no father. They are fatherless. He shows them things that look good but lead to an even worse life than they have already. the Children are taken in and sink deeper into their life that leads to an early and miserable death.

That is a simple shortened sketch with God as the Father, Us as his Children and Satan as the slaver.

It is also a rough illustration of how Satan deceives us.

Ah...that is putting it mildly. His whole agenda is tricking people and causing them chaos. Look what Job went through as a prime example. And, even though Job lost almost everything, including his own wife telling him to curse God, he stayed faithful. At one point he wanted to die out of sheer misery and yet he still did not blame Jehovah.

Some people today want to blame God for all the badness. They do not see the reality of Satan and his demon angels along with him. 1 John 5:19 says he is ruling the entire world. The good part is; it will not be much longer before Christ's Kingdom Government will take over. It is long awaited but that is when all our righteous dreams will come true.

A great translation is New World Translation; and this is out of the simplified translation:

Mt. 6:9, 10

You must pray, then, this way:

“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.

10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.

Daniel 2:44

“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever

Rev. 21:1-4

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I also saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. By any means necessary! Usually so the deceived actually love what they are being deceived by.

He transforms into an angel of light-2 Corinthians 11:12-15) He poses as every false god misleading billions through false religions( Babylon the great) He gets parents to hand down pagan practices and false god worship to their own children. He uses love, giving, whatever it takes. Throughout Gods written word--99% mislead--99% of all religions false.

Because He is the Father of Lies. And of all Sin. A murderer, and The God of this Earth.
