How big is KPOP in China?
I've heard it's only popular among teens (mainly girls) and female adults in the beginning of their 20's. The rest couldn't care less. I've heard it from a chinese friend, but I want to hear other response.
Please, I want serious answers from people who has some knowledge and experince. Not the typical kpop fans that has no clear knowledge about the Chinese music industry or China in general and think that attracting a zoo to the airport mean that it's the biggest thing eva cuz kpop is taking over the entira world omg!!!!!!!

I am (South)Korean and i think it is not as big as media says, i think most listeners are female in their 10's or 20's and they are a minority.

Korean popular culture, especially tv dramas are becoming more and more popular in China.
Asia generally speaking will appreciate music, movies etc from each other.
Obviously younger people are into pop.

In China, it is only chinese, english and korean music that is popular...tv dramas may be more popular than music
