Dual antenna router but still low signal strength!!?
I had a BSNL DSL connection and a gateway with only one antenna. I was fed-up with their stupid connection so I changed to Tikona. Its really awesome and I asked the guy to put a good router which can give a signal boost in the whole house (2 floor house)...He suggested a dual band (dual antenna) router for signal boost. We bought TL-WR841N 300M Wireless N Router which was very good i suppose. But now when I have set it up, no device interference it provides the same amount of signals as the previous modem did....this router was worth rupees 3000 and I think its kinda useless but it has just some good features. But still I guess I wasted my money or I didn't set the apparatus correctly or what? Also a wired connection in the PC gives 100Mbps speed and wifi gives max. 54Mbps speed ... I use D-LINK wifi adapter to use WIFI in PC...

First off, dual antenna doesn't necessarily mean dual band or increased signal. Most of the time all two antennas are used for is to give transmit and receive each their own antenna allowing for more throughput, not signal strength.
The router you purchased is indeed a good one. To try and increase your signal strength there are a few things that you can do. First off, try relocating the router. The higher the better. Next, they sell high gain antennas that you can use to increase your wireless signal. If you purchased the version that allows for detachable antennas, then you can go online and purchase high gain ones to replace the current ones. Lastly, you can install custom firmware on the router that will allow you to increase the transmit power. I recommend installing DD-WRT, once installed on the router, there will be settings allowing you to increase your wireless power thus increasing your signal strength.
Hopefully one or a combination of those methods will help you achieve a better signal. Good luck!

Well if your connecting at 54Mbps on wireless you must have a Wireless-g adapter. No matter what router you get you going to get that. You need to upgrade the wireless by buying a Wireless-n capable one that will utilize the faster transfer speeds as well as longer range
