Can Baby Platy Fry survive in a small jar? (Temp)?
My Platy are pregnant and are sdeliveringg but the other play just gobble them up, i would like to keep them but don't have room for them to survive, the breeder box i got is the most yet they still get eaten, they're going to get eaten anyway...i was going to put them in an unused jar and put an air pump in it ....i.know....there's no substitute for a tank but i have no other choice, does anyone know how i can improve this or how else i should go about it,
Thanks!

Please if you can find some plants to put in your tank if you don't want live ones then get small fake ones where they can hide.A small amount will get eaten but after a few days they will leave them alone and don't forget a tiny amount of salt for Platys,Mollies, swordfish. The jar might work with air but you have no way to control temps and that will stress the fish even more.I hope you will be able to save some I love to hear when people do and have several generations.Fish keeper 16 years.
