Am I the only one that thinks our species is completely stupid?

I agree with you...but stupidity is rampant. That's why evolution is such a slow,painful process.

Nothing can be done except be patient,work for the best,and hope they don't kill us all.

Don't think they're stupid, petty them, usually these people are sarounded in a VERY tough environment and survival instinct kicks in so they only talk like this to defend them selves, both psychologically and physically...

It's not them, the little people who make the world apear as you look at it at the moment, but the media, who only shows deaths all the time, and crime and fighting, that causes people to be scared, and act the way they do, they are not to be blamed.

If the media was to focus more on good deeds (which are more boring than crime and death) than the world would be a MUCH better place, without fear, and with love and respect to each human, and people (not you) would not judge other people by their race or skin colour.

Did you know that there is a big decline in crime these days in USA, yet people believe crime rate has actually gone up, due to the emphasis the media gives crime and death.

Also there are many shows that show that being "gangsta" or "tough" is cool, instead of showing compasion and love, which is "boring" sadly.

There are over 7 billion people in the world and a handful of people who were unfortunately born with a smaller brain twerking need not be paid attention to. Stupid is stupid does.

I don't understand what you mean by the "greatest capacity to do anything out of any species on this planet" because what can we do? What are we capable of? and If so, why aren't you doing so?

and I get it, there are many uneducated and ignorant people in this world but sometimes, it is easier to enjoy the little things in life than face reality. We are all going to die anyway and so far, you are not going to get up one day and prove God's existence etc. Enjoy it while you can. Live a little. and Stop being so ignorant and close minded.

I partly agree with you but think we have paradise here we just cant help ourselves from spoiling it Our species is I think goign through a particularly challenging time within postmodernist 'irony' HOpefully we' will get through it .
