Can delaying cataract surgery for 6 months make the surgery more difficult?
I have permission from my health plan to have the surgery within the next year. I prefer having the surgery in June. Can this present a problem?

Unless you have been told differently by your doctor, it should not be a problem to wait. Naturally you won't see well until you have it done. Your lens gets harder making it more difficult to break down and suck out through the incision. the amount that it changes in six months is probably inconsequential.

6 months is not enough time to make any part of the process more difficult, except maybe filling out the paperwork with more blurry vision. : )
