A fun Idea maybe could be a comparison of words. In the German language there are words that sound the like english words, but have a totally different meaning. Maybe you could make a game sheet with facts (true and not true or maybe write the word and meaning and they have to try to find the real answer to it.

Example:

Igel (der Igel) = Hedgehog ==> sounds like EAGLE

Gift (das Gift) = poison ==> sounds like GIFT

Teer (der Teer) = tar ==> sounds like tear

Hai (der Hai) = shark ==> sounds like hi

There are no Skunks and Hummingbirds in Germany! A lot of people never think about that. Sure more examples can be found.

Kids in Germany get a "Schultuete" on their first day of School. And almost every kid has a picture of it taken.
