Froch wants Golovkin?

Carl Froch has said that if he beats Groves he wants GGG next in Vegas, and that there management teams are in talks. Do you think he should be fighting someone lighter who is coming up in weight or would it be better for his legacy if he moved up in weight himself to become a two weight world champ? I personally think he should fight Kovalev next after how he beat Cleverly. What are your thoughts??

I love that fight, and GGG has said time and time again he'll fight anyone from 154lb to 168lb.

Froch vs Kovalev would be great, but HBO has Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson on a collision course for next year, and that's a legit fight.

But yeah, I love the Froch/GGG matchup and I hope it gets made, that'd be violent. I have no problem with them fighting at super-middleweight, Golovkin can handle it and Froch isn't exactly huge.

GGG needs a big fight like this. I think this would be a great fight, and really show people how good GGG really is.

    sean,

Big, big mistake. Not the fact that he can't beat Golovkin because he has a chance but the fact that he is already looking past the young and hungry Groves in front of him.

The worst you can do as a professional is look past an opponent, I still cringe at the fact I lost to bloody Steve Collins, still bring a tear to my eye as I think about it.

    Thanks sean.

I don't think that GGG will take the challenge because he's too small.
