Why should I stay on Yahoo Answers?

Frequently, Y!A users are sure something isn't a violation when it actually is. I know I've learned a number of the rules because I received violations, and I remember having no idea that my answers were violations. A question (or answer) doesn't have to be offensive in ANY way for it to be a violation. "How are you today?" is a violation. If you answered a question with politely suggesting they put it in a more appropriate category, intending to be helpful, that would be a violation. If someone posts a poem and asks people what they think of it... that's a violation. If they were to instead ask what they can do to improve it, that would be fine.

As for why you should stay on Yahoo! Answers... only you can answer that. I guess it depends on what YOU like about it. We all have different opinions. Also remember that a question must be seeking useful information or knowledge. That said, This question is more asking for opinion rather than information. There can be no right or wrong answer.

There are just too many rules here as the previous answerer noted. And as a friend of mine mentioned : "I think they just make rules up as they go along to piss people off ". Even good answers and posts are being reported. I find it all too suffocating so as of now I am like 70% out and just staying because i have friends here...but i am reconnecting via other forums with them and soon i will be totally out.
