You can survive a bit longer with Dad. Just don't spend much time at home. Go to school/sports/extra classes/ and work. You hardly have to be there at all.

Let's say you need a $1,000 per month to pay for everything including rent, food, clothes, electric & water & heat & phone & internet & medical bills and entertainment for yourself. You need $12,000 a year. You're 15, so you need 3 years more to get ready to work. That means you will need $36,000 minimum($12,000 X 3 years) AT LEAST right now. You will also need extra money so you can use it for emergency.
If you have this much money RIGHT NOW, sure go ahead and move out. But since you're just a child, you need a guardian for sure.
She said she wants to move out with you. But does she realize that means she has to be your legal guardian, be responsible for all your actions, pay for rent & food & what not? Even you have money, it's a BIG responsibility for a girl who's just turning 18. It's very likely that you don't have $36,000 because you're only 15, you're asking a LOT from her. It's like asking her to raise a child. Yeah you say she's your best friend, but is she THAT committed to this relationship?
Or are you asking your parents to pay for this? Why would they do that? They have themselves to pay for your life at least 3 more years. Why would they go out of their way to let you move out when it costs EXTRA money & attention & time & worries for them?
They're your parents even you have no respect to them. Your father is only furious because he loves you and he feels it's his responsibility to raise you till you come of age.
You might say that your father doesn't love you. But who would go out of their way to save money, work hard, cook for you, do your laundry, keep house tidy, give you space to study and experience life safely while your parents watch over you?
He can kick you out anytime, stop caring and stop feeding you. But he doesn't. Instead he is trying to stop you doing foolish thing so you can lead a better life. If this isn't love, what is?
So, what you're trying to do is outrageous. You're a child but you're being overly childish for your age. You're being selfish, not thinking through at all. Only good thing about you is how honest you're to your desires. But life isn't about getting everything you want. You should know this by now.
This is why I suggest you to stop trying to move out from your father's place.
You also said you don't care about illegal stuff, but you also said "How can I legally move in with her?". Make up your mind please. I do not understand what you expect of us.
Source(s): You may find my answer harsh. But I am not trying to make you feel bad. I am only telling you the truth. If you think it's unacceptable, that's too bad. I hope you will make right decision for your future. Good luck and take care! - Anonymous8 years ago
