Who hates the new Yahoo mail as much as I do?

I loved the Yahoo Classic, and Yahoo decided it wasn't "hip" enough. (Perhaps it was the medication their CEO is on? ) But we don't seem to have any option to get back to what was a good thing, and next year Yahoo will change this email to another version.

Yahoo seems to follow our government's adage: "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is broke!"

What I am missing from the old Yahoo Mail program is the ability to check the left side box of an eMail, then scroll to wherever and check another box (while holding down Ctrl Alt). This would automatically check all the boxes of the eMails between. Then hit delete and done! Now I have to do each individually. Or, have it delete everything, but I DON'T want to delete everything. Anyone have a clue how to do this with the new format? If not, then Yahoo Mail is useless to me and I will switch mail programs.

Time to change mail service! This new mail interface is awful. I liked what I had and this one looks like design on drugs. Can't read email, too big of script, hate the backgrounds, cant see folders easy, just hate it all around and I will soon be searching for new email service after using yahoo since it came out.

Who said this was such an okay to such a gross change anyway. Who ever approved this awful change should be fired because Yahoo just went to the dogs.

I hated the mail the first day and I still hate the mail. I have an iPad with the old format and it so much easier to find sent mail. I belong to a club and need to look up sent mail occasionally for members since they lost the original and it's all ME,YOU, THEM - I can't find anything! I just want the address sent to - period. They must listen to users and stop this unfriendly format soon. I may be switching as a long time user if this doesn't improve SOON.

I am very upset about the change. It worries me. I have been using yahoo for a long time and had no complaints. I am now a bit older and change isn't as easy as it used to be. I don't want to change my email! After reading the other emails, it seems like a lot of people agree, the new yahoo mail stinks!

Yahoo deleted all my older emails... Only have the new ones received in my inbox. All others gone as is the gear icon for the settings.

Time to get a new Email service.

Yahoo is doing things crazy like and losing clients.

I agree with everything written about the yahoo service,or lack of as the case now is,i maybe thick but when I wanted to send to many in the previous version,it was simple the contacts list came up when I needed to send bcc too,i got the full list up and clicked the box of to whom I wished to send,i cannot fathom how to do this in any easy way.it has become defunct for me,but to who do I turn ,has anyone come across a free service that is similar to how yahoo service was.

I got back to Yahoo Classic, however, you have to know your email addresses, it will not automatically put in the name in the "to" section when you start typing anymore. I had to go back and forth to my contacts to retype in the names...thinking that would solve the problem, no it won't. So I switched back to the new email and half the time it won't let me even "file" in my folders. I am diligently going to switch to gmail and have all my mail forwarded until I can switch completely over....this new Yahoo is a real pain....no wonder Yahoo stock is down.....it's going to get worse yahoo when you lose all of your current email customers....maybe that's what you are trying to do....you are succeeding. In addition the home page is just getting ridiculous with all the garbage on it.

I hate the new Yahoo also. Nothing is the same and I could print and get the whole page now I have to waste my ink trying to get it to print the whole article. I am with you the last one they changed was just fine and then they had to go and change it again and screwed it all up. I hope they leave it alone from now on. Like you said if it ain't broke don't fix it. I even asked to go back to the last Yahoo and they told me I couldn't.Cathy

Yahoo mail has sucked through the last few versions, now it is intolerable. I have a business mail I pay for and can't get rid of it. I have three other yahoo emails and I am slowly notifying everyone I plan to change.

I goth this email from my alternative address asking me if I wanted a theme. I thought it was a header but it was a dark teal email background. I can hardly read my mail. The Yahoo Mail people cannot leave well enough alone.
