Hatsune Miku or Lady Gaga?

Miku. She is incorruptable, indestructable, and eternal, and represents an entirely new way to make music - massively crowdsourced and insanely prolific.

I've been listening to Hatsune Miku for just over a year, and have over 400 Miku songs on my phone. Those are my carefully selected favorites, ruthlessly culled from thousands of ones I have listened to, and I've still only scratched the surface, in her 100,000+ song repertoire. (and that's just her original music, not including all the covers). There is so much variety - it's staggering. Just yesterday I saw a poll that showed the 180 most popular Miku songs, and I only recognised about a third!

Gaga has, what, around 40 songs in her discography total?! Miku records that many every day.

I have no problems with Gaga, and I admire what she's done. But who is this woman, really? Gaga is an artifice. How many people really know the real Stefani Germanotta and what she's about?

Miku on the other hand, is exactly what she appears to be. Being virtual provides a level of sincerity and honesty and integrity that no human performer can ever come close to.

We can believe in Miku, and know that she can't let us down. There's something magical about that, about her, and it's so refreshing to be able to believe in magic, and have it be genuine.

I have to agree with you on this. I say Hatune Miku is better because of the way that her music is produced. What many people don't know about Miku or any of the other vocaloids is that every song, animation, almost everything else is made by people like you and me. The fans. We all have the ability to make her sing any song we want using the vocaloid software that Crypton Future Media makes, but it's all on us that makes the songs that goes into the concerts that Miku performs.

Lady GaGa of course. I mean I like Miku like some of her songs. I mean a lot of Miku's song are quite horrible. Miku has good ones just not enough. Lady GaGa has a better singing voice unlike Miku's which is very computer generated, cause it is. So basically saying Lady GaGa has more actual real talent than Miku.

Miku, and I see that you've said to present an argument but, I like miku better just because her music is the kind of music I like, as well as many other Vocaloid like Rin Len IA Gumi etc

I also enjoy Lady Gaga and her music as well though! She's made such a big statement and has influenced and helped many people. A friend said lg made him feel like it was okay to be different (he's gay) and I think that's really wonderful

I prefer miku though, once you start listening to her music and the lyrics and meanings of songs, you forget her presence consists of an anime character, vocaloid music is awesome catchy and original

Lady GaGa - I don't need to present an argument because your mind is made up. You might want to note that 50% of the people answering don't even know who Hatsune Miku is. I know why I say what I say and that's all that matters. It all comes down to personal preference and your argument is a presentation of why your preference is the way it is. Opinion and that's all.

Miku obviously she surpasses lady gaga a thousand times that she isn't even worth comparing to Miku!

Miku all the way. The music is always different. The songs actually tell stories and there's one out there to relate to any situation.
