I keep getting a message from webpage?

Every time I go to a new page a message pops up on my screen. "Message From Webpage" below that it just says a number then the option to click OK. When I click ok it either says false or true. What the hell does this mean?

It sounds to me like a virus, or at least a webpage trying to infect you.

Any time you see a message you are suspicious of, or appears strange, follow your instinct and get away.

In Windows, you can use ALT+F4 to close a window or response box.. without using the mouse or pointer. There are javascript (and other) commands that activate just by moving your mouse.. you've seen menus and other actions happen just by triggering "mouse over" . Moving the mouse, and clicking on numbers can actually install a virus or other crummy stuff.

If you can't get the window down, then use CTL+ALT+DEL, and open Task Manager, kill the web browser(perhaps many copies) under the applications list , and again perhaps- in the processes list.

NOTE: on windows, "explorer.exe" is your desktop and file manager interface.. "iexplore.exe" is the browser Internet Explorer. Don't kill explorer.exe unless you are ready to completely restart. and even then it isn't the best idea.
