Used iphone from sister?
My sis may be giving me her old iphone. If I go to my current carrier, can I get my same number on it?

Yes your carrier will just change the SIM card and put your number on it. Most carriers will also contact the registered owner first to make sure it was given to you and not stolen.
When I gave my old phones to my sister the carrier phoned me at home to make sure and I had to answer the secret question to make sure I was the registered owner too. Once it told them I gave it to her they transferred everything with no problems.

Most likely, yeah. You can just get a SIM card from them and tell them you want to keep your current number.
