No Media Features or Windows Media Player in Windows Features - Turn Windows features On or Off - help?
I run "windows vista" "32-bit" "home premium"
When i go into Control Panel - Programs - Turn Windows features on or off - There is NO checkbox NOR category for "Media Features"
I don't know how it could have been deleted, but I want to have it because I need Windows Media Player.
How can this be missing, and is there a way to ADD both Media Features and then Windows Media Player?
is there a registry entry i have to tweak - or a download i can perform?
I DO NOT have the Installation media for my Vista as it was installed on my desk top PC back when I bought it.

If you just want something to play your media files, try VLC Player, http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
