In case you are talking about Yahoo mail...
Not possible, sorry, the old Yahoo free mail accounts don't exist anymore. But you can do something else to get a more familiar interface...
Download and install the latest Firefox browser:

Then download Thunderbird, the mail client for Firefox users - it has many of the functions the old Yahoo mail used to have, and yes, you can use the Thunderbird to handle your Yahoo mail:

Yahoo has discontinued Yahoo Classic. As the article below says once the switch to the new version has taken place you can't go back to the previous version. The article also contain a link to an overview of the new email.

I'm running the new full version of Yahoo mail on an 8 year old laptop running Windows XP SP 3 with 2 gig of memory. The tips in the article above were most helpful. I also needed to make sure I'd downloaded all the latest Windows updates and I did have to install the latest versions of Java and Adobe Flash Player. I had to abandon IE8 because it's the latest version that Windows XP will support and the performance with Yahoo Mail was very poor. I installed the latest version of Firefox, Chrome, and Safari for Windows to see which one works best on my laptop. After these changes Yahoo Mail runs almost as fast as Yahoo Classic and I've had no issues yet.
If the new full version of Yahoo mail isn't for you, you should check out Yahoo Basic. Your email is displayed in page view (25 emails per page) and you have the standard First page, Next page, Previous page, and Last page controls.

If you're in the market for a new email provider because you don't like either the full version or Yahoo Basic, I'm told that Inbox.com looks and works much like Yahoo Classic. If you don't like that one there are a dozen more listed in the article below that you can try. You're bound to like one more than you like the new Yahoo mail.
