The Yahoo Messenger screen has gone blank; how can I fix it?

There's no text or pictures or audibles or environments showing. I can see that the other person has sent me a message, but it's completely. This problem started two days ago.

I re-downloaded the program, but the problem is still there.

    Get Instant file finder..Type ya into the search .

    Manually remove EVERY file thats in Yahoo messenger.

    either some are missing or a virus got in.

    Remove also any Yahoo messenger folders.

    Then go to add and remove programs,

    See if its still there,If so uninstall.

    Then use Ccleaner and clean.

    Also use the registry clean in it.

    Restart your PC and reinstall Messenger.

    Maybe try messenger 9 at Old apps.com.

    Messenger 11 has over 2,000 files in it.
