My teacher goes way too fast for me?

Question

My APUSH teacher often tells us to take out our notebooks so that we can scribble things down as he goes on about whatever it is that we're going over that day.
I'm a slow writer and he talks FAST! I can comprehend what he's saying most of the time but I can't do two things at once so I find that when I'm writing, I'll be behind on what he's saying and then somehow later on, I'm all caught up but then I get behind again. 
In another class of mine, I take my notes at home (video notes) and do all of the projects and tests related stuff at school (this is called a flipped classroom) and I find this really helpful because I can pause whenever I need to to gather all of the information that was given to us.
Obviously I'd have to talk to my teacher about this but I still want to know what you guys did to get all of the information if you're like me and find it hard to follow everything that your teacher says.

I'd talk to your teacher about your problem first. He might be able to help in a way you haven't considered yet. Also, maybe you can find a friend in your class who keeps up just fine and see if he'd let you photocopy his notes or something.

Since your already talking to your teacher about the problem ill assume it has gotten better. If it hasn't copy off of someone, if you can't do that than ask him if he can maybe print the notes for you, or let you copy then at lunch or recess.

I have a college professor who was like that, Ask him if you can record his class that way you wont miss anything he says.

why don't you just record it on your cellphone thats why use to do in my anatomy class because it was hard to remember the name for all the muscles and bones in the body and i hated reading
