Is my class rank good?
Today we got our class ranks, I am 19 out of 502. I'm wondering if this is impressive to high end colleges. I know it is top 5% but I don't know how much weight colleges put into class rank.

Depends on what university you are talking about. It is a viable source of information to most universities. In Texas, there is a top 10% initiative that they are changing to a top 5%, which guarantees automatic admission to most top universities. Your SAT or ACT scores speak much more about how impressive you might be as a student. However, I'd definitely include those scores too on any resume for a university. The more information saying you are deserving of being accepted the better your chances of acceptance.
