Number one cylinder on chevy Colorado 5 cylinder?

Is the front cylinder on a chevy inline 5 cylinder engine the number one? Thanks.

    The front is always number one on an inline engine.

    John above is correct. #1 is the first cylinder. Swap coils when you look at the spark plug & see if the misfire moves to the the cylinder you put #1 coil in. Easy way to check & test the coil
