Why don't secular schools teach about the Ten Commandments found written in stone in New Mexico?

As a scientific matter, why wouldn't any ancient writings be presented? Many other 'religious type' ancient petroglyphs are presented for study.

Why should schools waste time telling students about every ridiculous hoax out there? Good schools teach about a few of them just to tell kids what to look for in spotting a hoax, but in general there's no reason to teach about something that has so little relevance to the curriculum.
