Why does Yahoo hate its customers?
I spend actual cash dollars for Yahoo services. But there is no way for me to talk to a real person about my complaints with the service. The only way to express my dissatisfaction appears to be to cancel my account, get an automated refund for my pro-rated services, and then go on my way without any satisfaction whatsoever.
Is this what Yahoo is trying to turn the world into? I society of robots who are forbidden to express any emotion, and may only exist as the suffrage of our corporate overloards?
Wretched Wrench, do you speak on behalf of Yahoo? Because your lack of customer focus is very indicative of how Yahoo treats me as a customer. Nobody has written asking Yahoo to design an individualized piece of software. But hundreds of people have written about problems regarding authentication, temporary errors, sorting by sender, and other GENERAL DEFECTS AND REDUCTIONS IN FUNCTIONALITY with this forced "upgrade."
And yes, I did try returning to Basic email. It removed my theme but did not resolve the other issues.

i'm sorry for your dissatisfaction but Yahoo cannot custom design everyone's email page. Perhaps you would be happier using basic mail. Basic mail is a very simple design similar to an early version of Yahoo Mail Classic. Please note, basic is lacking many features, including autocomplete.
If you would like to try basic the Yahoo Help page below has the instructions you need:

Try turning off Conversations as they are the worst thing on the new version. Hover over the Gear icon at the top right of the mail page, select Mail Options or Settings (which ever you have it seems to be different for some people). Then find the option for Conversations (either on the main page of options or on the Viewing Mail settings) and uncheck it.

Good luck! I've been trying to reach a Yahoo! dip$hit for almost two years for my paid services. They never, ever respond, yet never miss an invoice. In addition, even though I have a paid Yahoo! email account, these a$$holes still fill it up with advertising and cancelled my Classic Yahoo! email.
We're migrating to a new web location as soon as we can. Good luck!
