Why travel over seas?

some people need to stop going to war torn places to get captured by them crazy terrist and costing the US lots of money to get them back. Stay home stupid if you want to get beat up just kick a police or something. Use the internet to talk to your buddies over seas Or bring them back to the USA .

You are confused. There are lots of places over seas that are quite safe. There are also places that aren't. Many Americans tend to be afraid of anything "different". They are the same people who think we have the world's best health system, best educational system, etc, etc. They are wrong based on any formal measurement.

It drives me nuts when people scream AMERICA IS NUMBER ONE! When they've never left their own zip code. Sort of like claiming vanilla is the best ice cream when all you've ever tried is vanilla. I love going over seas. Some things in the US are best, but people who say so with nothing to compare it to are rather ignorant.

Tourist areas of the Caribbean are safe. Violent ghettos and war zones aren't popular tourist destinations. Dairy farmers don't kill their cows and murdering tourists is bad for business. The people who go to places like Afghanistan or Somalia and get kidnapped or killed by terrorists are usually journalists, aid workers, soldiers, contractors, or government agents. Regular tourists don't go to those places.
