Should we report bad grammar when we see it?
I don't want to offend people, but if your job involves communicating with the public surely you ought to have a decent grasp of punctuation and spelling. A company named Dvdgold.co.uk keeps sending me promotional emails that contain grocer's apostrophes, and even though I have emailed them and contacted them through their "Contact us" web form, they have ignored my messages suggesting that they remove the apostrophes from non-possessive plurals. Do you think if enough of us contact them, they might take the hint?
If someone emailed you to tell you that you had made an error, and suggested how to look more professional, would you take offence?
Yes they might take the hint? Or yes you would take offence?

Yes, tell them! It will deter some people from buying their products - me included! I have done similar when I have seen a poster outside a shop proclaiming that 'We sell back to school statiary' (sic) - not only the wrong ending to the word 'stationery', but missing out the middle section of the word!
I went into the shop and pointed the error out, telling the staff that THEY needed to go back to school!
On holiday I once saw a coffee shop with a beautifully engraved window. It was such a pity, then, that there was a glaring spelling mistake in the wording! I can't remember now what it was, but something like, ' A beautiful coffee expireance '
It always astounds me that a business will not take the trouble to check the spelling before spending money on something which just makes them look so unprofessional!

Sounds too much like an uphill struggle. Correcting others mistakes unasked is quite rude. (Not everyone has the benefit of an education). Don't suppose Jack Cohen worried about such things when he was piling 'em high and selling 'em cheap.
What it boils down to is this: if you want their product's shop there - if you don't go elsewhere.

The intelligence level keeps dropping. You would be shocked to find out at what level of education most magazines and newspapers are printed at -- on purpose.

This is not a really good use of your time. (Of course, it IS your time, but still...)
People who put out communications with bad grammar do not care (a) about grammar, or (b) about your corrections.

Sorry - but don't be a twit.
They'll ignore it. It will just cause you more angst that they ignore it.
There are far more pressing things to worry about, and far better things to do with your time.
