Plan B works about 85-90% of the time, so it is NOT perfect. And it should not be used with the intention that 'hey, I'm gonna have sex tonight and I'll take Plan B afterwards'. If you know you're going to have sex - that's not an emergency and why wouldn't you buy a condom for a dollar rather than spend $50 on Plan B? That's just incredibly stupid. Plan B is meant for 'accidents'. . . like the condom broke or you forgot to take your regular birth control or you were drunk and weren't planning on having unprotected sex.

If you know you're going to have sex, then you have the opportunity to protect yourself properly, because it's NOT an emergency.

Yes it does really work if taken before 72 hours have passed- however IF you became pregnant then take it it will make you sick or hurt because it then has to get rid of the egg. Also plan B is NOT to be used as birth control!! It is only for emergencies. That is all. It carries risks and side effect risks and if youre pregnant it can cause all sorts of things while its working. Do not use plan B as a birth control for planned unsafe sex, that is a misuse of the product

Yes, it really does. My ex-girlfriend and I had unprotected sex once when I was sure I didn't pull out in time. We were both freaking out.

Next day she tells me about Plan B, so we go to the pharmacy. Point is she took it, and I'm not a daddy right now.

Yes it works. It's recommended to be taken within 72 hours of the incident. You're taking it right after so you'll fine.

It does usually work, but it's a MASSIVE dose of hormones.

You're better to have protected sex, and you'll enjoy the sex more if you know there's no risk.
