how do i lock the task bar on windows 8?

Question

i just got an asus s300c notebook with windows 8..already hate the thing and got it this evening. i'd like to know if and how i can get my task bar to lock in place in the bottom right hand corner? i miss my clock, battery life, speaker volume, etc... thanks !!!!!! (i had to make a microsoft account to be able to personalize the settings,and so far i've had no luck)...

it is same as windows 7:
right click taskbar and choose lock the taskbar

If you just right click the task bar it should give you an option to do so.
