Just to give you an idea of what im looking for: stuff like Sugar Ray, Green Day, Everclear, Weezer, any Punk Rock, stuff you'd see in Lords Of Dogtown or skate/surf movies, pop punk

I don't know any of the bands on your list, but if you want California beachy music you have to check out the Beach Boys, maybe Jimmy Buffett, and **** Dale. Dale is instrumental surf guitar mostly.

Anything off of Sheryl Crow's "C'mon C'mon" cd is good. That one has gotten me through a few Canadian winters.
