What happened to Loki after Thor the Dark World (SPOILERS)?

So I just watched Thor 2 and I don't understand what happened to Loki. So he is supposedly dead (not explained how he comes back) and appears on the throne at the end. Can anyone explain this to me and also how does he get on throne without Odin knowing?

Right Loci basically fakes his death by replacept himself in front of Thor. Making Thor& Jane. believe that he is truly dead. I know this is true because when it went back to the site of the incident it showed a guard with all the armour and everything BUT it has them sparkles after Thor and Loki have shifted into other people, pretending to be them. So Loki pretended to be the guard, the sparkles show this.

He basically got on the throne by either killing his father, keeping him prison or something else???.......... So Odin Does know, cause he must of saw Loki when he took him. But he Loki has done something to him at this point so we can not see him there.

Hope this helps a lot, I really really had to answer your question!!

Source(s): I just watched Thor: The Dark World today too. Also I am a HUGE Marvel fan, Marvel mana-yak!!!

It might be explained in the next Thor movie but I think he really faked his death by making a duplicate of himself when he got stabbed.

There's a reason you don't know that. You have to wait for the next film for that to be revealed. You were SUPPOSED to be confused because that should make you look forward to finding out in the next film. That's why it's called a "twist ending".
