    I have been involved in psychology for more than 50 years.

    The best practitioner and theoretician I have met is John Heron.

    His complete works are downloadable for free: http//:human-inquiry.com.

    "Helping the client" and "The complete facilitator's handbook"

    are practical. "Feeling and personhood" provide a new approach to psychology.

    These books require some effort, but they are worth it.
