I don't have any of the previous ipads or any other type of tablet, would the iPad air be a good buy?

i think you should wait a little bit coz it might get cheaper since we are getting to the holiday season

wait until the iPad mini w. Retina comes out and we are closer to the holiday. Both of those factors should create a better price deal on the iPad Air. Plus, most significant bugs will be worked out by then (not that there are any big ones right now, just saying that because it's new hardware and a new operating system)

Yes, You should buy the iPad air. It's an Awesome tablet and its super fast, You won't have to upgrade for years to come..Basically its future proof because of the 64bit architecture (ITS SUPER FAST)
