Suns Def Pelicans 104-98 Thoughts?

I am very upset at the Pelicans for allowing 37 points in teh 3rd quarter of the game and then losing at the end. We controlled that game from opening tip even with AD struggling to score but our Defense came back to bit us again. I am not sure why or how we can have Holiday, AMinu and Davis on the court and we still can't lock people up. Bledsoe is fast becoming one of the best guards in the league. Is there anyone like him other than Westbrook who can dominate by scoring, passing and rebounding while also collecting steals and wreaking havoc in the passing lanes? Maybe Chris Paul but Bledsoe is much more athletic than him.

I like the win and Bledsoe's performance. The Suns seem to be playing some of the best basket protection defense in the NBA, and have the lowest OPP FG% at less than 5 feet and the second lowest from less than 8 feet. The team is pretty middle of the pack in most other areas.

Now that there is an opening for a guard, I want to see Green and Christmas each get a few starts and a few call ups as 6th man from the bench to evaluate the best option. Dragic still will probably be the best option now that Bledsoe is apparently turning into Derrick Rose; the Suns are going to need the extra defense and facilitation playing 2 point guards offers. I also am interested to see what happens when Okafor comes back and what exactly will happen to the defense. I think if he works out they will probably bring Plumlee off of the bench as an energy guy. I want to see more use of Alex Len before Okafor comes back, as well.

7 or 8 seed...surprise team out of the west. they got good young talent.
