Why is a non-compete contract ok for Obama but not Cheney?

When Cheney challenged the detractors to find another company who could get the job done, no one could name one. yet, still it is a scandal that haunts his legacy. Obama gave the contract to supporters of his and they failed miserably and several other companies said they could have done a better job for a fraction of the time and money and asked to bid to fix it and Obama instead gave more non-competes to more of his big donors. and no one but FOX seems to think this an issue.

So Cheney had only one company that could fix the issues in Iraq and it was a time senstive project so it was awarded non-compete. Big scandal though no alternatives could be found.

Barack has hundreds of companies that have done similar things, there was almost three years to do it and most companies said it could be done in months. He awards it to his buddies. No scandal.

Why?

Update:

Hannah, you avoided the question about the non-competes being offered. And you are obviously not aware fo the many ways that money is bundled to hide who gives it and the bundlers get special perks without even having their names attached to it. Warren Buffet was able to collect over 1000 times what he was legally allowed to give for Barack Obama using loopholes in the political fund raising laws.

Yeah, big deal - $1,500. Whoopee!!!!!

Toni Townes-Whitley, a senior vice president at CGI Federal, is a Princeton classmate of First Lady Michelle Obama, the Daily Caller reported. In addition to being college classmates, both Obama and Townes-Whitley are members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

According to Federal Election Commission Records, Toni Townes-Whitley gave $500 in 2011 and 2012 to Obama's reelection, and another $1,000 to the Obama Victory Fund.

Clinton gave no-bid contracts to the same corporations as well. Another example of Democrat hypocrisy.
