    Surface of the Earth : 1 R

    1/3 of Earth`s Radius = 1/3 R

    1/3 R + 1 R = 4/3 R

    Gravitational acceleration relation with radius is g = 1/(R^2)

    Therefore

    g=1/(4/3^2)

    g=9/16

    Therefore it is 9/16 g
