So what is the actual problem?
The object has displaced 50ml of water - is the object totally immersed - in which case that is the volume of the object. It will experience an upthrust equal to the weight of water displaced - which will be 0.5N loss in weight ( 50g x gfs = 0.05kg x 10N/kg )
