Why should I try to deal with the issue of rape?

Question

It is even worth making an effort to deal with this “issue” when it is and can even extend to consensual sex.
Rape is in a nutshell forced sex that could extend to force by society or government to reproduce, or exploitation of sexual drive.
People have been able to extent rape this far and the product, of this is a bunch is of people being put into jail over trivial garbage.
That and a large number of false accusations.
If the product of fighting against “rape” is this then why should I give a damn?
I feel that rape Is losing it legitimacy and I often just cannot take it seriously.
I am not advocating acts of harm against other I am just asking why.

When you say 'rape' it means 'real rape' not 'false allegations'. Don't mix them.

Why would you bother?
You won't even bother if your girlfriend or wife or sister or daughter gets raped.

You should in my opinion care about  rape in the same way you should care about any other violent crime.

I agree with you that the way feminist misrepresent the crime or rape for agenda reasons, is not conducive to getting more men to actively take interest in this issue.

Also consider, feminists feel men should be much more active in rape prevention because it occurs to women more than men.  However, men are murdered at 5 times the rate of women, so why is it that only crimes in which women are victimized more deserve special attention and special legislation?

Bottom line:  All violent crime is bad, should be illegal and should be discouraged beyond just being illegal.

Because you're a decent human being.  By the way, men get raped too.  Why don't you support a charity for male rape, if you can't bring yourself to support women victims.
