Is it worth it to upgrade to the Nvidia GTX700 series?

Hey guys, so my computer is getting outdated, right now it has an Nvidia GTX560 Ti and sadly, its not running games like it used to, with Cyber Monday being on December 2nd I'm looking into getting a few upgrades, originally I was thinking about getting a GTX660 Ti but someone told me it wouldn't be worth it, so I thought maybe the GTX670 however than Nvidia like what seemed to be a few months after 600 series release, they released the 700 series... whats up with that? is their even a huge performance increase? also would a 600W PSU be able to run cards that high just fine or is it time to upgrade that too?

My specs:

Motherboard: MSi P67A-C43 (B3)

CPU: Intel i5 2500K

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master EVO 212

RAM: G.Skill 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz

GPU: EVGA GTX560 Ti

Hard Drives(s):

1x 300GB 5400RPM (holds Windows 7)

1x 500GB 5400RPM (Extra space)

1x 1TB 7200RPM (Holds programs/games)

also bonus question: would it be worth it to upgrade my 2 drives to 7200RPM ones or should I invest in an SSD, and get rid of the 300GB hard drive?

    The motherboard is kind of a older chipset still can hold a gtx 760 or a gtx 760 ti also the gtx 700 series graphic card is backwards compatible with a pci-e 2.0, for better booting and load times i would upgrade the 300 gb drive for 250 gb ssd , 1tb is a lot to use , drop the 500 gb 5400 rpm drive or upgrade it to 7200 rpm

    Ok samsung has a great SSD 500GB for $600! It is about 10x faster that your 7200RPM hard drive and is a beast in loading programs, games etc... look at the ATI radeons they are really good up there and somewhat cheaper that the 700's I have a 7950 that is pretty good it plays FC3 at high end settings. Your processor is fine also. Not too familiar with Nvidia because I have never owned one but its easy to compare with a quick google search. Any Questions Email me @ ac130kire@yahoo.com

    More than likely your psu will be enough to run those cards. The new series doesn't come out every few months, they come out about every 1-2 years. IMO the 660's and 670's are more than enough to run most of the new games out there on high settings. I've recently purchased a 660ti from newegg and running batman origins on maxed out and still getting about 70-80 fps.
