Can I still go to Heaven if I'm an atheist who lives a good life?

No. Are you truly an atheist who believes in heaven?

Heaven is not a reward for good behavior. It is the free gift of God to undeserving sinners.

To answer this question, first "heaven" has to be defined. Then, it is only those that believe can go through that straight and narrow path to righteousness. To live a good life, means not to deny or ignore the spirit within.

Heaven is a state of consciousness - attained by those who are good. Not those who lead a good life.

Sandra Rogers had a near-death-experience during which she asked the light, whom she identified as Jesus, how people from other religions get to heaven. She was shown that the group or organization that people profess alliance to is inconsequential. What is important is HOW WE SHOW OUR LOVE FOR GOD BY THE WAY WE TREAT EACH OTHER.

“There is a difference between wrongdoing with no premeditated desire to hurt someone and intentional evil. The degrees of harm to others from mischief to malevolence are carefully evaluated. A guiding principle in the spirit world is that wrongdoing, intentional or unintentional, on the part of all souls will need to be redressed in some form in a future life. This is not considered punishment as much as an opportunity for karmic growth. THERE IS NO HELL for souls, except perhaps on Earth.”

Destiny of Souls - Michael Newton

“Upon death of the human body, the discarnate soul is placed on a plane in the spiritual world that corresponds to its evolutionary state. And this depends on the soul’s behavior during its incarnation regarding the law of love. The final destiny of the soul is to always return to its spiritual home.

However, those delinquent souls THAT HAVE CARRIED OUT SERIOUS ACTS AGAINST OTHER BEINGS of creation will remain trapped in the lowest vibratory level of the inferior astral, due to the burden of their actions. In the opposite extreme, the SOULS THAT HAVE OVERCOME A MAJOR PART OF THEIR EGOISM AND HAVE BEHAVED LOVINGLY, will rise to the highest vibratory bands of the superior astral.

In between those two extremes, there are a multitude of intermediate levels in which souls will be placed according to their level of spiritual elevation and their behavior regarding the law of love.”

To me, its impossible to know what may or may not be after death, but it is generally a good plan to be a good person, live your life creating and building up , and not tearing down.

Even if there is not some supernatural deed tracker deciding your eternal reward/punishment, your actions can effect the lives and minds of those around you. Being a decent person should not hinge on whether or not someone is watching.

If you're an atheist then you don't believe in heaven - right?

There is only ONE unforgivable sin - rejecting the offer of God's forgiveness.

This is blaspheming the Holy Spirit when you can feel him calling you to be in relationship with Jesus. Ignore his attempts to woo you, and on Judgment Day death and Hades will give up their dead to be judged.

I bid you 'good luck' without Jesus to take your punishment for you.

I read people say; the pope this the pope that..

He is nothing more than any other human being, nothing more and nothing les.

Trough the Word of God, Jesus said; No one can come to the Father except trough Him.

So there is no entry besides trough Jesus the Lord Himself, He Himself provided for us The Way to enter into His kingdom, Jesus pointed the truth from our hearts, that no man on earth is good, for all have fallen short of Gods glory, but because He loved us He gave us His Son, to save us from our selves, from our own pride, from our sins, from our rebellion.

We cant earn heaven, but its a free gift trough Jesus Christ the Lord of lords, the King of kings.

No man on earth can convince you of anything, search the truth in the Lord, search Him for yourself, only He can convince you.

No, not likely. An atheist, by definition, does not believe in God, or His heaven.

If you are an atheist, why do you believe in heaven?

If you can live the perfect life- yes.

But that one escaped you a long time ago now and life has no do overs.

We cannot get to Heaven on our own merits, but only Jesus.

Jesus said "Those who do the will of my Father."

That means believing that Jesus is/was the Son.
