My period keeps coming back?

My period started on the 25th October and it was a browny colour, and mainly clots... Then on the 30th October, it started looking more like normal - a pinky red and much thinner. It seemed like a fairly light period and it ended on the 5th November. But since then, it'll come back for a day every now and again and then go away again! I'm 16 and this period's been 12 weeks coming, if that's any help? Any help would be much appreciated - I have no idea what my body's up to!

Your body is a very complex system and there are a number of things that occur when you have a period.....your hormones may be a little off and not telling your uterus to stop shedding or your uterine lining most likely built up for several months before shedding and once it starts it can take a while for it to stop. It is not something to worry excessively about but you should go see your doctor this month to figure out why this is happening. He or she should be able to figure out why this is happening so it does not happen every month and/or may give you a prescription to help get or keep your body on track. This happened to both me and my daughter and I can assure you that it was not a serious problem. My daughter went on the Pill to help straighten her cycles out. Good luck!
